About Us
We are a woodcraft manufacturer from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, established in 1998/ For the wooden products, we use reclaimed (recycled) wood from decades old houses, buildings, and bridges that were demolished for various reasons.
By using reclaimed wood, we avoid cutting down trees. We contribute to preserving nature and keeping it green. Furthermore, the reclaimed wood we use is hard and durable, such as teak, jackfruit, and other Javanese hardwoods.
Sometimes –but not all—our products have minor patches where bails were cut, where joints were cut, or where natural erosion occurred.
DISCLAIMER
We do not cut down trees. We use a variety of reclaimed wood from construction sites—including demolished houses, sheds, fences, and bridges—as material for our products. This is a green product.
It's a natural product..
Therefore, each product will have a different texture.
Crafted by skilled carpenters by hand, not in a mechanical factory. Therefore, there may be slight variations in size of a few millimeters in each product, but this does not detract from the artistic composition.
Similarly, the finish may vary slightly from one piece to another, including the characteristics of the burnt finish. The differences in finishes actually enhance the artistic character of each product.
We prioritize handcrafting over industrial machinery. This preserves the skills of our woodworkers, passed down generation to generation. Industrial machinery only contributes to product standaridization and precision.
In this way, we promote the spirit pf environmental conservation while preserving tradition. We hope you enjoy it.
